Welcome

Rugby Bowmen welcome archers of all ages and abilities. We are able to shoot outdoors all year round at any time in our enclosed grounds in Dunchurch, with club shooting 3 times a week. During the winter we also have indoor shooting twice a week.

The club was formed in 2002 with the amalgamation of 2 clubs, Rugby Archery Club and the Acorn Archery club. We hold an open tournament every year in July at Newbold Rugby Club and club championships both indoor and outdoor. We also take part in the West Midlands postal shoot, and host a couple of crossbow shoots with Rugby Sport for the Disabled Association.

If you are interested in trying your hand at archery we hold beginners sessions for anyone 12 years or older regularly during the year. Those of us who can already shoot but can still improve can take advantage of club development days, and there are equipment maintenance days for those who want to learn how to make a string or fletch arrows, lucky ones can even help to maintain the beginners equipment.
